| is these cases it depends on what the owner/mods decide to do
in most cases delete after it's inactive for a set amount of time, but that's also a function in the last forum that I've ran so it might be best to find out if the owner has that on and in what sections, this is also the best way since it's the only one that will keep an accurate post count while also keeping the database has small has possible, using the auto pruner can actuly good and bad, since the post count isn't changed by it, it shows how active someone has been since they registered, or manuly deleting dead treads will remove the deleted post from the user post count so that way can be more of a showing of how active someone has been recently
so that can come down to what everyone wants to do
normally only lock a topic if it's a problem, like arguement or needless reviving of dead topics | |
